The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, along with the Senior Registrar, officers of the Registry and employees of the High Court, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti at its Lucknow Bench.
To mark the occasion, Justice Rajan Roy, Senior Judge of the Lucknow Bench, garlanded the bust of Mahatma Gandhi and paid homage. This was followed by floral tributes, the singing of the National Song and the National Anthem.
Speaking on the occasion, Justice Rajan Roy emphasized the relevance of Gandhian philosophy and said that,
“The youth must take inspiration from the principles of Gandhi ji, this may not only shape their lives but will also shape the future of our Country.”
