About CCLP:

The Centre for Competition Law & Policy (CCLP) is a research initiative of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi (NUALS), established to support and encourage study and research in competition law and policy. The Centre focuses on disseminating ideas and promoting research through a network of competition professionals, including regulators, academicians, practitioners, and industry experts, and aims to provide students a platform to interact with experts and engage with this developing field of law.

About the Blog:

The CCLP Blog features analytical and academic posts on contemporary developments in competition law and policy. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year, and manuscripts must be restricted to the scope of the blog, i.e., competition law.

Call for Blogs:

The CCLP invites original blog submissions relating to recent developments and issues in competition law and policy. Contributions are encouraged from academicians, legal professionals, and law students.

Submission Guidelines:

● Word Count: The manuscript must be between 1500 – 1800 words.

● Title: The title of the manuscript must not exceed 10 (ten) words.

● Citation Format: Use hyperlinks for citations, or footnote using the Bluebook (21st edition), if necessary.

● Formatting: The body of the manuscript must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.

● File Format: All submissions must be made in .docx format. PDF submissions are not accepted.

● Co-Authorship: Co-authorship by up to 2 (two) authors is permitted.

● Originality: The submission must be an original work and should not have been published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

● Plagiarism & AI Check: All submissions are subject to a plagiarism check and an AI check. Submissions found to be unoriginal will be rejected. The maximum plagiarism permitted is 10%.

● Editorial Discretion: The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject any work during the review process if it is found to be unoriginal or fails to meet the standards set by the Board.

● Rights: CCLP reserves all rights over the submissions.
